Ava, Bryce & Gavin: One Year Later | Atlanta & Los Angeles Child Photographer

Last year about this time I had this wonderful client family that had a gorgeous three year old little girl named Ava.  They were expecting identical twin boys just a few weeks after I did their maternity session and I was lucky enough to get to go back for the newborn session.  This is one gorgeous family y’all (see the southerner in me is creeping back in to my daily vocabulary)!  Not only are they beautiful but they are such a wonderful sweet and loving family and I was thrilled when they hired me again this  year when I was in LA.  Miss Ava has grown in to a confident and spirited four year old who loves Hello Kitty and being silly and the boys, oh my goodness what a difference a year makes.  These two little heart breakers who were so tiny the last time I saw them, were now busy one year olds that cried when I started to leave.  Yes it’s true they cried when I was leaving.  Oh how they melted my heart.

Here is what they looked like this time last year:

What a difference a year makes! All traces of “baby” are gone from Ava, and those boys look really busy. Change happens fast at these ages, kudos to the parents for capturing it because life gets awfully busy with little ones like these on the go!

William & Sofia | Atlanta Twin Photographer

Back in August I worked with this cutie pie set of twins for a commercial shoot.  Today they were my portrait clients and they can now sit up!  They were so cute and I just love it when babies are newly sitting, they are just so proud of themselves and their new skill!

Thank you to the V family for welcoming me to your home!  You are such a sweet family and I had a wonderful time!

Sofia’s Mommy told me that she is a very serious baby, she sure is cute though and we managed to get some smiles from her, but this is her serious look.

Little Will took a power nap and he was such a happy camper when he woke up!  Check out their dog Lenox sitting behind him, he was the best dog ever.  So gentle with the babies and such a little love.

Together in the rocking chair…

Last but not least, their beautiful Mommy & Daddy!

It’s Fall Ya’ll | Atlanta Children’s Photographer

See now that I am back in the south I don’t stick out like a sore thumb when I say ya’ll.  I still said it during my 11 years in LA and it would immediately be followed by the question, oh you aren’t from LA are you?

Fall here in Atlanta is BEAUTIFUL!  The weather is crisp and so are the leaves, everything is golden and just gorgeous.  Yes I’m still behind on my blogging (what else is new right?) so I decided to put several of my recent cuties all in one big post.

I told ya’ll that I’m declaring myself Atlanta’s official twin photographer right?  Another set of twins and their little brother, these little guys were so much fun and look how cute they look!

Look at these curls on this toddler boy, oh my goodness and those chocolate brown eyes. PERFECT!

This little one flew in from Los Angeles for her photo shoot!  I’ll be photographing her when I’m in LA next month at her home there.  She was so sassy, I loved it!

Look at how sweet this little one is with his beautiful Mommy.  I love their fall colors they are wearing!

This handsome little guy was so polite and sweet, such a good boy.

And last but not least a beautiful maternity client who is having a baby girl this week!!!

Julia - October 26, 2008 - 8:14 pm

These are all FABULOUS!!! Did I ever tell you, I didn’t say “y’all” until I moved to Boston, of all places? Of course I can’t live without the word now… it’s indispensible, and much sweeter than saying “you guys”!

Laura Veraska - October 27, 2008 - 4:22 am

One + Twins | Atlanta Twin Photographer

I have so much stuff to share and I know I need to blog when people are emailing me making sure I’m alive.  Very alive and very busy!  Fall is the holiday portrait season rush and not to mention all of these beautiful babies being born in Atlanta, it’s my favorite time of the year.

Also one bit of business – I only have a couple of Los Angeles portrait sessions left for the week of November 10-16 so if you want one, book now!  I am going to be all over LA, quite a busy schedule during my week there!

Today I traveled to Cartersville and met this wonderful family bright and early, these little ones wake up at 6:00am every day (sounds like my two!) so we were outside with the chickens this morning.  They were such troopers because it was super cold outside, but that did not stop us from having fun.  Awesome awesome parents and incredibly cute children, what a wonderful way to start the day!  I think I am becoming the official Atlanta Twin photographer, just call me the twinographer! ;-)   I have so many great clients that all have twins.  Here are a few to share from our morning together:

Hey those pinwheels match my logo!

They came two by two | Atlanta Commercial Photographer

Today I had a wonderful opportunity to photograph a bunch of the cutest twins EVER! These little models just melted my heart with all their cute twinness (ok that is *so* not a word). They were all modeling for a awesome shop that specializes in clothing for twins and siblings of twins. I’ll share the name and how you can find them when we have all of the images live and ready.

I wish I could show all of the beautiful baby twins from today, but it’s been a long day so I’ll just give you a sneak peek of a few from today.

This little heartbreaker has a twin brother, but he decided that he didn’t want the paparazzi bothering him, so he declined and put his hand up and said no photos, please respect my privacy. Alright so he didn’t say that in so many words, but I think that’s what he would have said if he could have. ;)

For this next one, I can’t use the black and white version for the final one, but for my blog I just had to use it. I love how curious they look.
