I often wonder if there is some magical little elf that visits my home and casts a spell on the clothes hampers that instantly multiplies the amount of laundry waiting to be done. It seems like I empty a hamper and wash it and it’s immediately full again. Part of the problem is my little one, who goes in to her room and changes clothes a million times a night. Every time she comes out she’s wearing something different, then she will put that outfit in the hamper and it continues until bedtime.

Now this elf theory does not work with socks because they go in to some sort of black hole where one of them gets lost leaving a single sock longing for a mate.

I know that when I invent the self cleaning house that the first thing that it’s going to do is the laundry.

Here are a couple from this weekend, isn’t she gorgeous? I’ve decided my son is going to marry her when they grow up.

This morning I was lucky enough to see some familar faces for my morning session. Last time we focused on the family, this time was about Mom & Dad, who are by the way celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary….Congrats! I loved seeing them again, their girls are so smart and best of all silly! Anyone who can be silly is a-ok in my book!

Even though today we were focusing on Mom & Dad I still had to sneak in a few shots of my little friends. I asked them to tell each other a secret and they thought it was funny!

and the anniversary couple…

Yesterday I got together with some of my awesome photography friends at Bronson Canyon Park in Hollywood. Ok it was HOT HOT HOT, but we still had fun! It was a global gathering, we had friends fly in from Australia, Utah, Hawaii, Texas and of course all of our So Cal regulars. I’m sure the other people at the park were wondering what was going on with all of the paparazzi at the park!

My friends Ingrid & Pete, they are both incredible photographers and such nice people. Ingrid is expecting a baby early next year, so all of my blog readers if you could send her girl vibes, this is her fourth and she has three boys!

I have so many more, but I haven’t downloaded them from my cards yet. I always have such a good time when I get together with them. It’s fun to talk shop with people who don’t get tired of hearing about it and they are just as crazy about photography as I am. Thanks gang for a great afternoon!
