Portraits of Atlanta & Los Angeles Newborn Babies, Children & Families
Love the pix! Would love to know where you got the colorful blanket in the second photo… if, in fact, it is a blanket.
oh my word. That first image….speechless.
GORGEOUS, Angela!!
goodness gracious!! these are gorgeous…and that fist shot..swoon!
The first one is just perfect. I love it.
oh my word!! Love these!!
I look at a lot of photography blogs and I’m pretty jaded. When that first image loaded I said “awww…” out loud. You are SOOO talented, Angela. The second image is absolutely adorable. Her soft creamy skin against that riot of texture and color is masterful. Something a true professional with an artist’s eye can pull off. Mom was brilliant to commission you to commemorate this fleeting moment in her daugher’s life.
Angela… that first one is breathtaking. Both are beautiful but my goodness… something about it is so moving!
Oh how gorgeous are those blankets!
Your work is stunning!
omgoodness so precious, and I just love that blanket color!
She is just lovely Angela. The detail and clarity in these images is just, wow!
Amazing!! Love the 2nd one!!!
ohhhh Angela!!!!! that first image made me gasp!! so lovely.
oh wow… the sleepy ones melt my heart and I am loving her eye lashes in that first one! And wowza on that color in the second!
Oh how unbelievably sweet. Every mom *needs* a photograph like the first one. Every baby needs one too.
adorable!
these are great!!! Lovin’ the lashes!
The first shot is so precious. What a sleepy little one.

My little newborn client Axyl just was not ready to come in to this world when he was supposed to, he decided to go beyond his due date and hang out in his beautiful mommy’s tummy for quite a while! Oh he was certainly worth the wait, he is so cute and his hair is a little red, I love it. When I was holding him he fell right to sleep on my chest and didn’t make a peep. I could have just sat there all day holding him, he is a good little snuggler!

His Mom & Dad had this clock table so of course we had to put him on it and set it to the time he was born. I couldn’t get exactly right above it even on the ladder, but that’s ok I still think it looks pretty cool.

Today I traveled to Mableton to photograph a newborn baby girl who is only six days old. I always tell my clients and potential clients that it is so important to have their newborns photographed within their first two weeks because it makes such a difference. Anna was a true testament to that, she was so sleepy and laid back, I think I could have just sat and looked at her all day. She almost shares a birthday with her Dad, so there were quite a few of us scorpios in the house today! Thank you to Anna’s wonderful parents, they were amazing and so sweet and kind.
Oh, she is such a little heartbreaker at only six days old, here are a few from our morning together…

I love it when I catch babies mid-yawn, this modeling thing is hard work!

[...] Last year at this time I photographed beautiful Baby Anna shortly after she was born. I was so excited when her Mommy told me that they wanted me to photograph her again this year. I love love love seeing how much the babies I photograph have grown over the past year when I see them for their one year portrait sessions. Miss Anna is *such* a sweet and beautiful little toddler. She blows kisses and waves bye bye, oh she just melts my heart. We had a lot of fun playing in the leaves and being silly that day. Thank you so much B & P for inviting me back again this year. Remember a few weeks ago I posted a pregnant belly and told you all to guess if it was a boy or a girl? Well baby boy Bryce came by the studio today for his newborn session. I’m telling you, these Atlanta babies are being so good to me! They are all so very very sleepy! It’s so important for newborn photo sessions to take place within the first few weeks while the babies are still sleepy and bendy, and before newborn acne kicks in, so his Mommy and Daddy get a gold star for coming in asap after he was born!
Bryce was so cute, I think he was one of the most cooperative newborns I’ve met. His big brother even flew in to town to be a part of our session, he looked so proud and happy to have a new little brother. His Mom & Dad are so cute too, lots of smiley faces today from them. They say pregnant women glow but his Mommy was just beaming, glowing, on cloud nine. Bryce only fussed one time and his Dad talked to him softly and rocked him back to sleep. I don’t know about you but seeing a Dad with his new baby is the coolest thing ever, it totally changes them.
Here are a few from our session this afternoon…
With his big brother

See what I mean about how sleepy he was, PERFECT!!!!
And with his beautiful Mama, she is so much fun, we just giggled the entire time.
