Baby Lexi | Buckhead – Atlanta Baby Photographer

Today I traveled to Buckhead to meet five week old Baby Lexi and her parents.  This little one was ready to party and did not want to sleep, I think she thought that we were going to have fun  without her or something or maybe we grown ups were just so cool that she couldn’t miss a moment of anything.  I think she really liked me because I was able to get her to fall asleep in my arms, I’m pretty good at the shooshing sound repeatedly (my white noise machine decided to go on vacation so *I* was the noise machine today, kicking it old school for sure ;) ).  She was so super cute and sweet, I probably could have just sat and held her all day.  Thank you to Miss Lexi’s wonderful parents for having me over today, I appreciate your kindness and the good conversation.  Here are a few to share from today:

Love the mama & baby shot – agreed that Daddy needs it for his office… and his wallet… and the mirror while he’s shaving… and the visor of his car… and his cell phone… and his iPod… and above the bed… okay, maybe not above the bed. But the second one just grabs your heart. What a treasure!

Her name was Lola… | Los Angeles Baby Photographer

This beautiful little baby girl that I recently photographed was close by in Redondo Beach. Her Mom and Dad had so many wonderful ideas for me and we had so much fun. Lola was a perfect little sweetheart and her parents are in trouble, cause let me tell you this little heartbreaker already has Mom & Dad wrapped around those little baby fingers. I loved all of her hair, she had so much and at the end we even spiked it up for a rock n’ roll shot! Thank you to Lola’s parents for being so sweet and kind to me, she is such a beautiful baby and the smiles on your faces when you looked at her were priceless!

Here are a few photos from our session that day.
Her nursery has a monkey theme so I made sure to get several shots working in her monkeys! Her Dad is from South Africa and she even has some monkey toys from there.

I loved how she was looking at her Daddy when we were getting ready for the next photo

Now you know I had to get a shot of her on the giraffe because the toy company I work for makes them! I was so excited to see that they had one!

Relaxing with her sweet Mommy and it looks like she’s giving me the baby power sign with her hand!

Newborns can party too…

Today I traveled to my home away from home Pasadena to photograph a brand new baby boy. So many of my wonderful clients live there that I feel like I’m at home when I go there. I love all of the neighborhoods and their charm, the cute little street lamps, beautiful homes and super nice people.

This little newborn was so sweet, and he was already smiling at only 2 weeks old. Let me tell you, this little guy likes to party, he told me sleep is for babies, and I said but you are a baby and he said, oh yeah. :-) I think he just liked me and didn’t want to miss a thing so he stayed awake and smiled at me. He was so cute and cuddly, and he had the best hair ever, I loved how part of it was spikey. His Mom & Dad are so in love with him and they were so sweet and nice and made me feel at home. I loved spending time with this family today, I’m so lucky to have the best clients in the world.

Here are a few photos from our time together…

Look at how smart he is, he posed himself…

Then I told him a joke and he laughed at me ;-) (look at that cute little grin!)

and then… when it was time for me to say goodbye, you’ll never guess what happened

He decided the party was over and he went to sleep!
