A familar face

Now most of my existing clients know that during the week I’m busy playing with toys.  Yep, I get to photograph toys and children for catalogs.  This evening I stopped playing with toys and one of my favorite little clients came by my office so that I could shoot some new stuff for her modeling/acting portfolio.  She just finished filming her first movie, it’s due out next year and I’m so excited for her.  She has the sweetest little heart and she’s such a smart cookie too! Our mission today was to get some shots of her various looks.  Typically for my model clients I don’t crop in quite so close like I did on a couple of these, but just for my website and blog I like to get in close, I love connecting with children and I love how personal a close crop is.

Seeing Double

This morning I traveled to Altadena to photograph a gorgeous set of twins. I am not joking when I say that I would pay an insane amount of money to have hair like theirs. Their ringlet curls were to die for!

Their Mom & Dad were so awesome too, I really enjoyed myself and the time just flew by. I think four is now my favorite age, they were so easy and willing to be in front of the camera. One of my favorite things about them was their bond. When it was time for them to switch places or for me to photograph the other one, they would hug each other. It really tugged at my heart strings, honestly it was amazing to watch them together. I loved how their little faces were smiling at me through the window when I arrived, and how their Dad called them Ladies when he was trying to get their attention. I loved how their Mom sat and let them “fix” her hair while she was sitting on the sidewalk. Words cannot express how wonderful this family was.

Ok, enough of my rambling! Here are a few of the photos from today! Oh and I apologize in advance if I posted individual shots of the same twin, I *think* I mixed it up, but boy I was bad at telling them apart!

I think we invented a new sport – Synchronized Boot Jumping! I wonder if we could get that in to the next Olympics?

Hi from New Orleans! These cuties pies are my great nieces, and I mean that in the best of ways. They are not only beautiful on the outside, but have hearts of pure gold. I only get to see them about once every six months, but they are always so loving and open to me. They have brought extreme happiness to our family. You go girls, Mona and Lu – rule!

These are great! I love the black and white of them laying side by side. What gorgeous girls! They seem so comfortable in front of the camera, and boy does the camera love them! I really love that rainbow background too, is that a place, or at their home?

Great work!
