I often get emails from other photographers asking what kind of gear I use so I thought I would go ahead and post it here so I can refer people to it quickly.
So right now I have three different camera bags that I use.
First up is my Shootsac. It’s good to use on location when you want to change lenses on the go and not be weighed down by a big huge bag. Although I’ll go ahead and confess to using it as a purse sometimes and throwing my point and shoot camera in it with my iphone and just go! I have the calm cover for it but I think I actually like the plain ol’ black cover because it matches pretty much anything and the flip side of it is a lens cloth.
and here it is loaded up
Then I have my Crumpler 7 Million Dollar Home. (Yes that really is the name of it). I’m a carry everything including the kitchen sink kind of girl, always prepared so the 7 Million really didn’t work so great for me because I use a grip on my bodies and that makes them huge, so it simply didn’t have enough room. I still have it and I’ll use it when I’m just taking one body with me. How can you not love a camera bag that is red? That alone gives it major cool points.

Now my favorite bag of all that I absolutely adore is my Jill-e large black roller. It holds everything! But let me warn you, this is one big bag. The photo does not even come close to letting you know how big. HUGE is a better word I think! It has polka dot material on the inside, too cute!

So what do I put in this bag? Well here’s a list of my gear…
plus…
15 Compact Flash Cards
2 sync cords
1 Polarizer & Case
3 UV filters & Cases
and a bunch of other small loose things with room for more
Also there is a pocket that will hold my laptop - (will fit any laptop up to size 17 inch).
I also have my strobes, softboxes, softliter and other goodies that just don’t quite fit in the bag, but I don’t always use them so that’s a good thing!
So now you know what’s in my bag!
