One + Twins

I have so much stuff to share and I know I need to blog when people are emailing me making sure I’m alive.  Very alive and very busy!  Fall is the holiday portrait season rush and not to mention all of these beautiful babies being born in Atlanta, it’s my favorite time of the year.

Also one bit of business - I only have a couple of Los Angeles portrait sessions left for the week of November 10-16 so if you want one, book now!  I am going to be all over LA, quite a busy schedule during my week there!

Today I traveled to Cartersville and met this wonderful family bright and early, these little ones wake up at 6:00am every day (sounds like my two!) so we were outside with the chickens this morning.  They were such troopers because it was super cold outside, but that did not stop us from having fun.  Awesome awesome parents and incredibly cute children, what a wonderful way to start the day!  I think I am becoming the official Atlanta Twin photographer, just call me the twinographer! ;-)  I have so many great clients that all have twins.  Here are a few to share from our morning together:

Hey those pinwheels match my logo!

Off to a sweet start…

First let me tell you that when they call it HOTlanta they aint joking!  As they say “it’s not the heat it’s the humidity”, I’m hear to tell you every single word of that is true.  Phew!

This evening I met my clients at a beautiful park in East Cobb County.  They have the best last name ever and I hope they don’t mind me sharing, it’s Sugar.  How cute is that and that they are my first Atlanta clients and they have a sweet last name. ;-)  I had such a wonderful time, they were so much fun and were so very sweet and kind.  We had a mission today and that was to get some shots of the three generations of Sugar Men.  Grandpa Sugar was in visiting from New York so this was the perfect opportunity for photos!  Later on this week we will have part two of our session and it will be all about little J.

Thank you to the Sugar family to living up to your name and being so sweet and welcoming to me and for braving the crazy heat together!

Just a side note that I’m currently turning cartwheels in my front yard (ok not really, I would probably break my neck) but our “stuff” arrived today in the moving crates and after 2+ weeks I get to sleep in my own bed.  You read that right, no floor,  no crazy air mattress, yes my very own bed.  My back is already thanking me!

Here are a few sneak peeks from this afternoon!

Don’t you just love those dark eyes and gorgeous red hair he has.  So so cute!

Mission accomplished…

and we can’t forget Mr. J’s beautiful Mommy (who reminds me so much of my friend Monica back in LA)…

A Future Fighting Irishman

Today I traveled to Sherman Oaks to photograph a super cute 5 month old baby. He had the cutest face and the sweetest little personality. His Mom and Dad were so cool and lots of fun, he’s one lucky guy. He was in a serious mood today, I think he had a lot of his mind. I wonder what 5 months old think about? Milk? Diapers? Toys? Hands? Who knows but I bet it’s something good. We spent a lot of time on our tummies and let me tell you he is one strong dude. He was practically doing push ups, already in training mode. He is a future Notre Dame Fighting Irishman, just like his Dad. So at the end we made sure to get a quick shot of them in their gear. Thank you so much to the S Family for welcoming me in to your home and being so kind. I had a great time!

Here are a few photos from our time together…

I think he was trying to figure out why he was naked and on the floor.

I loved these polka dots on their guest bedroom pillows

I don’t know about you but babies in jeans = cutest thing ever!

Of course we had to get a quick shot of the boys in their Notre Dame gear.
