My son aka The Storm Trooper

My little Tinkerbell and a friend

My little one again, but this time with Grandma at the school carnival…. yes she’s on sugar overload here. ;)   Isn’t that the cutest most obnoxious dress ever?  I love how it looks in photos with the vivid color and patterns.

angela, that stormtrooper costume rocks! i’ll definitely have to get some pictures sent to you for this!

Laura Ping - November 1, 2007 - 6:10 pm

OMG! My kids went berserk when they saw your son’s costume. They want 2 of those exact costumes with official blasters and some nice background star wars background music. Adorable. And, Tinkerbell is a doll. Please don’t tell me you made that cute dress…that polka dot fabric on the bottom is perfect with the flowers. So…better (brighter) clothes on my kids might help my photography skills? I’ll have to try it. ;)

2007 Haute Dog Halloween Parade

Well this sure has been a busy weekend. Yesterday my booth at the baby fair was a success and I met lots of wonderful soon to be parents and spoke to them about my work. I can’t wait to start photographing their new little bundles of joy.

Today my husband and I took our two little ones down to Long Beach to the 7th Annual Haute Dog Halloween Parade. My kids love animals so much and we had such a good time! There were over 500 dogs in the parade and many more who just came to watch. I wish I could show you photos of all of the dogs, but that would be the world’s longest slideshow. Some of the dogs ran by us so fast that I didn’t have time to get a photo of them.

Here are a couple of my favorites and be sure and check out the slideshow below!

If you see your dog in the slideshow be sure and email me and I’ll be glad to send you the full res file so you can print it out!

Click here to view the Halloween Slideshow – if several people are watching at once it takes a few seconds to load, refresh if you have problems! ENJOY!

Angela:

I would love to get a copy of the photo of my dog, that I noticed was in your slide show. She was the Bichon Frise, dressed like Cinderella sitting in a stroller that had blue satin. How do I go about getting one?

Stacey - October 29, 2007 - 9:37 am

Hi – Your pictures are fantastic! You really captured the spirit of the event. I would love a copy of my dog – she is the punk rock dog with the green mohawk and the little guitar. I will recommend your slide show to my friends you couldn’t get to the parade.

Thanks -
Stacey

Angela,

Amazing photos. You captured the dogs perfectly at the Haute Dog Howl oween parade. Is that a picture of Justin Rudd’s bulldog Rosie above. ITs killer. I would love to a copy of that.

OMG! I am seriously laughing out loud at how cute these dogs are. I love your photos and you have such a wonderful eye. I really like how you shot them on their level instead of looking down at them.

You know how much my kiddos love watching your dog parade slide shows!

Those mom’s at the baby fair don’t know how lucky they are to have met you. Hmm…I wonder if you would fly out to Tiny Town, Indiana if I ever have the need for some newborn portraits. ;)

Outstanding photos, I spent far too long looking at them!,

The Great Pumpkin(s)

My son’s school has a pumpkin carving contest every year for their Halloween festival and I’m always amazed at some of the creative ways people decorate their pumpkins.  But I tell you, none of those pumpkins even match up to the AMAZING artistry from Scott Cummings in Perryton, TX.  Oh my goodness, he is so talented, you have to check out his website,  you’ll never look at a pumpkin the same way again.  Visit http://www.pumpkingutter.com/ to see his amazing pumpkin galleries!  Be sure and check out his art work as well, he’s very talented!
