Carson: One Year Later | Atlanta & Los Angeles Baby Photographer

Carson is another one of my adorable little Los Angeles clients that just turned one.  I have big plans for Carson, he just doesn’t know it yet.  I’ve decided that he is going to marry Quinlan (see the blog post prior to this one) and I’m going to photograph my first ever wedding when their big day happens.  Carson & Quinlan’s parents are friends so I think it would work out quite nicely!  Carson is such a little cutie pie and like Quinlan he isn’t walking yet but he’s so close.  His Dad has this really cool old Jeep that he restored and you know I had to incorporate that in to our session.  Carson’s mom has this amazing eye for detail and decorating, their home has so many great spots (we really took advantage of that with his newborn session).  This time we spent a lot of time outdoors since Carson is on the move.  It was so great seeing them again, such an awesome family that I adore.

I love how color-coordinated and precious he is in the newborn shot. He grew into a handsome little guy didn’t he? The last 2 images are so fun!

SherriW - April 27, 2009 - 4:01 am

OH that is a great session and to see them come back to you for his first year session! Great work. I love the Daddy shot in the van or car!

Kimberly Hill - April 27, 2009 - 5:17 am

I’ll second-shoot the wedding! Those gorgeous kids, your personality, the laid back fun parents? Heck ya, I’m there!! I can’t pick a favorite and I’m not emotionally involved so I’m guess Mom & Dad won’t be able to either which equals an album. There, problems solved. :)

jennifer - April 27, 2009 - 8:22 am

omgoodness these are absolutely gorgeous, wow awesome session, I especially love the PJ’s shot and the car window shot!

Meet Joe | Los Angeles Family Photographer

First off I have to tell you that the George Michael concert was flipping amazing. In my next life I want to come back with a English accent. I wonder if I could just talk like that when we move to Atlanta, maybe no one would notice? Best accents ever. This morning I had almost no voice from screaming so loud last night at the concert. I told my husband I want to see him when he plays Atlanta, and darn it his show is the day we leave LA July 31. Here are the dates left on his tour: http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/735650, if you like him GO! You will not be sorry, he sounds as good as ever!

This morning I traveled to Beverly Hills to photograph sweet baby Joe and his wonderful Mommy & Daddy. Joe was such a little flirt and gave me the biggest smiles. You all are going to fall in love with him when you see these photos, sooo cute! To the S family – thank you for having me over to photograph baby Joe and I hope you have a safe and wonderful trip to New York!!!

Here are a few from today…

Around The House

Yesterday afternoon I traveled to Monrovia to photograph a baby boy. His Mom & Dad wanted to incorporate their home items in to the photos to make them more personal and weren’t really interested in traditional newborn photographs. WOOHOO! My favorite thing to do. I must tell you, I think Mr. C’s Mom & Dad and I are going to start a business where I am the photographer, his Mom is the stylist and his dad is the newborn wrangler. We need to think of a name for it, I think we made a great team and let me tell you we laughed and joked a lot. His Mom even confessed that she watches Gossip Girl, which I’ve mentioned is one of my guilty pleasures. Thank you so much to the C family, I had such a wonderful time being silly with you and photographing that beautiful baby boy of yours. Oh and let me tell you all, their other two “babies” just had to sneak in to a few shots as well. I guess sibling rivalry was in full effect!

Here are a few photos of our afternoon together.

Oh and I’m going to call this next one Up Up & Away, it’s Superbaby! Check out his cute little belly button, his dad said it reminds him of a Cinnabon. So if the Cinnabon people are reading, yes we are all interested in a promotion campaign using his belly button ;)

Remember those siblings I was telling you about…

And finally when we were done, baby C threw his arms in the air, waved them like he didn’t care and fell asleep, thrilled that we were done bothering him with all this “photo” stuff.

Seriously Cute

This morning I traveled to Harbor City to photograph this adorable little guy.  He was serious business this morning, but also seriously cute!  We are going to have part two of our photo session in a few weeks, so be on the lookout for his face again.  He has two very sweet little sisters who adore him and his Mom & Dad’s faces just light up when they look at him.  Such a sweet and loving family and so kind.  And can I tell you, his Mom & Dad are headed to Jamaica for a vacation next month, just the two of them.  Color me jealous!  Have a good time, you deserve it!

Here are a few shots from our morning together….I’ll be back tonight or in the morning with a newborn, I’m headed to his house right now!
