Baby Anna | Atlanta Newborn Photographer

Today I traveled to Mableton to photograph a newborn baby girl who is only six days old.  I always tell my clients and potential clients that it is so important to have their newborns photographed within their first two weeks because it makes such a difference.  Anna was a true testament to that, she was so sleepy and laid back, I think I could have just sat and looked at her all day.  She almost shares a birthday with her Dad, so there were quite a few of us scorpios in the house today!  Thank you to Anna’s wonderful parents, they were amazing and so sweet and kind.

Oh, she is such a little heartbreaker at only six days old, here are a few from our morning together…

I love it when I catch babies mid-yawn, this modeling thing is hard work!

[...] Last year at this time I photographed beautiful Baby Anna shortly after she was born.  I was so excited when her Mommy told me that they wanted me to photograph her again this year.  I love love love seeing how much the babies I photograph have grown over the past year when I see them for their one year portrait sessions.  Miss Anna is *such* a sweet and beautiful little toddler.  She blows kisses and waves bye bye, oh she just melts my heart.  We had a lot of fun playing in the leaves and being silly that day.  Thank you so much B & P for inviting me back again this year. Baby Elizabeth | Marietta Newborn Photographer

Earlier this week I traveled to Marietta to photograph a brand new baby girl.  Her beautiful Mommy came in last month for her maternity session and now I had the chance to meet her sweet baby.

Miss Elizabeth did not want to go to sleep, she liked staying up and hanging out with us.  I’m telling you, these newborns love partying with me.  She was so alert and was so tiny and cute.  Finally she got tired of us fussing with her and she took a little nap.  I love photographing newborns, its such an amazing time for their families and to see how much they change in the first year is mind boggling.

Thank you to the M family for welcoming me to your home and being so kind, it was so much fun and I can’t wait until our next portrait session!

Her Mommy had this beautiful scarf that she got when she went to Paris, I love the color and it made a perfect wrap for baby E.

New Kids on the Block – Atlanta

Last night my friend Josh and I went to the New Kids On the Block concert here in Atlanta.  Oh my goodness, they were AWESOME and I think everyone in the audience had a sore throat and probably couldn’t hear well after leaving the show, the audience was so excited and LOUD!!!  Natasha Bedingfield & Lady Gaga opened for them and they were really good too.  I’m telling you, it is just not fair how well men age compared to women.  Jordan, Joey, Donnie, Danny & Jon were even cuter than they were back in the New Kids on the Block heyday.  We had the best time, we danced, screamed, sang, yelled, cheered and partied the entire time.  The only bad thing from that is how much my feet hurt now!  To all my blog readers in other cities who are going (and you know who you are) you are going to have so much fun!  I wish I could go again!

Here’s a little clip from the show last night, we had great seats!

On this one you can see Jordan looking right at me, yep he was singing to me!  It’s a song about taking photographs, see I told you he was singing to me! ;)

One + Twins | Atlanta Twin Photographer

I have so much stuff to share and I know I need to blog when people are emailing me making sure I’m alive.  Very alive and very busy!  Fall is the holiday portrait season rush and not to mention all of these beautiful babies being born in Atlanta, it’s my favorite time of the year.

Also one bit of business – I only have a couple of Los Angeles portrait sessions left for the week of November 10-16 so if you want one, book now!  I am going to be all over LA, quite a busy schedule during my week there!

Today I traveled to Cartersville and met this wonderful family bright and early, these little ones wake up at 6:00am every day (sounds like my two!) so we were outside with the chickens this morning.  They were such troopers because it was super cold outside, but that did not stop us from having fun.  Awesome awesome parents and incredibly cute children, what a wonderful way to start the day!  I think I am becoming the official Atlanta Twin photographer, just call me the twinographer! ;-)   I have so many great clients that all have twins.  Here are a few to share from our morning together:

Hey those pinwheels match my logo!
