Meet Joe

First off I have to tell you that the George Michael concert was flipping amazing. In my next life I want to come back with a English accent. I wonder if I could just talk like that when we move to Atlanta, maybe no one would notice? Best accents ever. This morning I had almost no voice from screaming so loud last night at the concert. I told my husband I want to see him when he plays Atlanta, and darn it his show is the day we leave LA July 31. Here are the dates left on his tour: http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/735650, if you like him GO! You will not be sorry, he sounds as good as ever!

This morning I traveled to Beverly Hills to photograph sweet baby Joe and his wonderful Mommy & Daddy. Joe was such a little flirt and gave me the biggest smiles. You all are going to fall in love with him when you see these photos, sooo cute! To the S family - thank you for having me over to photograph baby Joe and I hope you have a safe and wonderful trip to New York!!!

Here are a few from today…

One Year Later

hope all of you had a wonderful Father’s Day and that you gave your husbands and or fathers a special day today. Normally we go out for Father’s Day, but this time we stayed in and my husband had his favorite sushi! We are continuing to purge and pack for our big move to Atlanta at the end of next month.

Last year around this time I photographed a brand new baby girl named Avi. Yesterday I traveled to her home in Playa Del Rey for her one year portraits. My how much she has grown! She is sooooo super cute and I love how busy she is. She’s so excited that she has just started walking and she was on the go and proud of it! She was a total sweetheart. You should see how happy her Mommy is when she looks at her, so wonderful.

To Avi & her Mommy, thank you so much for having me back for your very special one year portraits, it was wonderful seeing you again!!!!!

Turning Three

Yesterday I photographed a super cute little boy who is turning three next month. It is an exciting time for him, not only will be be turning three but he will be getting his very first haircut or Upsherin as it is referred to in the Jewish faith.

I tell ya, it was a beautiful day here in LA yesterday but it was a scorcher! We braved the heat and had a lot of fun with our portrait session. Thank you to the G family, you are all so sweet and I thank you for choosing me to document this special time in your lives.

Here are a few photos from our time together today!

While everyone was getting ready, I had to get this quick shot of their sweet baby girl, she was so happy in her little swing. So very cute

The Birthday Girl

Today I traveled to Pasadena to photograph a beautiful baby girl’s 1st Birthday Party. She had her party at the Kidspace Children’s Museum that is located next to The Rose Bowl. She had so many friends and family there who all came out to help her celebrate her special day. She was surrounded by so much love, it was so sweet. I think it is safe to say that everyone had a wonderful time. It was in the 90’s today in Pasadena, OUCH OUCH OUCH! But little Miss A’s parents picked a perfect place with lots of beautiful shade trees for her party. For all of my Los Angeles blog readers, you should check out the museum, it’s a really neat place for kids, and don’t forget to take their swim suits, because there is a big waterfall and creek area for them to play in and cool down!

Thank you to Miss A’s family for having me photograph your celebration and for being so sweet and kind. I had a great time! Here are a few photos from today.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend. I’m taking the day off tomorrow and spending it with my little ones at Disneyland. Let’s hope it’s a little cooler than it was today!

Celebrating Six

Today one of my very special little clients turns six. Now I’m sure you all will recognize him as I photographed his baby sister a few months ago when she learned to sit. I don’t get tired of telling you all how much I love my clients, when I see them again after a little while it’s like saying hello to old friends and we pick up where we left off last time. Mr. C and his little brother Mr. D still love to talk about poopie sandwiches and baby A still has that smile that lights up a room. Their Mom and Dad greeted me with their friendly and warm smiles that are so familiar and kind. I’m always sad to say goodbye and I always look forward to our next portrait session.

Their family has a tradition to have a portrait session on each of their birthdays to document the day and special time, on the actual day of their birthday. So today was about C and turning the big SIX. I told him he didn’t look a day over ten. ;-) Thank you to the W family for inviting me to your home again, it was wonderful to see you!!! Here are a few to share of the Birthday Boy! Look at those gorgeous eyelashes!
