Happy Halloween!

I hope all of you have a safe and wonderful Halloween tonight!  Don’t eat too much candy and be sure and put the chocolate at the bottom of the bowl so if you are left with candy it will be the yummy stuff. ;-)   (just kidding!)

Here are my two little trick-or-treaters!  Email me a photo of your little ones, I would love to see them!

Alice In Wonderland and a Skeleton who said he didnt like wearing his mask because (and I quote) “It hides my cool hair Mom, people can’t see it,”  oh boy, he’s only seven, I’m going to be in trouble when he’s a teenager.

awww, so cute!! love that background color.

I met him seven years ago

The anticipation of meeting someone new is so stressful. Will they like me, will I say or do the wrong things? Am I good enough? Seven years ago this wonderful little person came in to my life, he cried his way in to the world and continued to cry for months and months (colic reared its ugly head at us and would not let go for six months). He was a little orange at first, of course I thought he had a tan like my husband, the nurses had a few giggles over that one. He spent two weeks in the NICU, I think I cried every single day of those two weeks because I was afraid that he would never come home with us. But he did. He is my sunshine, he is sometimes a little grumpster, he is my straight A student, he is my little helper, he is the smile that greets me at 3:00pm every day when he comes home from school, he stole my heart.

It was so hard when he was born to ever think past those first few rough days when he was sick to even think that things would be ok and that he would be the strong, smart, funny little boy that he is today. I didn’t know that he would end up with these beautiful curls that make people stop us in the grocery store. I didn’t know that he would tell me that he thinks I’m pretty every day, I didn’t know that he would want to hold my hand when we walk in to a store.

He loves pizza, Sponge Bob, Star Wars, dessert, Disneyland, sand, dirt, trains, costumes, surf boards, asking questions, talking about his limo business he’s going to have when he grows up and hats.

Today we celebrate his seventh birthday, my sweet baby boy Spencer. What a wonderful seven years it has been with him in my life. Happy Birthday to my little prince!  Oh and it’s also Talk Like A Pirate Day too!

They grow up way too fast, don’t they? What a handsome little man you have; I can see why he’s stolen your heart. By the way, I broke my little toe this week (somehow managed to do an imitation of a kickboxer in my house and hit it on the corner of the wall). It must be from reading your blog. Now, if only my photographs would improve from reading your blog, lol. Happy Birthday Spencer!!! I hope you celebrated in style!!!

Hi Angela..
I really like your works! I wish I lived near you, so I could have my children portraits done by you.
I love the color of your photos. Is it came fresh from your camera, or have you made some post production in photoshop? Could you share with me how to do it?
Thaks before.

Meet Joe | Los Angeles Family Photographer

First off I have to tell you that the George Michael concert was flipping amazing. In my next life I want to come back with a English accent. I wonder if I could just talk like that when we move to Atlanta, maybe no one would notice? Best accents ever. This morning I had almost no voice from screaming so loud last night at the concert. I told my husband I want to see him when he plays Atlanta, and darn it his show is the day we leave LA July 31. Here are the dates left on his tour:, if you like him GO! You will not be sorry, he sounds as good as ever!

This morning I traveled to Beverly Hills to photograph sweet baby Joe and his wonderful Mommy & Daddy. Joe was such a little flirt and gave me the biggest smiles. You all are going to fall in love with him when you see these photos, sooo cute! To the S family – thank you for having me over to photograph baby Joe and I hope you have a safe and wonderful trip to New York!!!

Here are a few from today…

One Year Later

hope all of you had a wonderful Father’s Day and that you gave your husbands and or fathers a special day today. Normally we go out for Father’s Day, but this time we stayed in and my husband had his favorite sushi! We are continuing to purge and pack for our big move to Atlanta at the end of next month.

Last year around this time I photographed a brand new baby girl named Avi. Yesterday I traveled to her home in Playa Del Rey for her one year portraits. My how much she has grown! She is sooooo super cute and I love how busy she is. She’s so excited that she has just started walking and she was on the go and proud of it! She was a total sweetheart. You should see how happy her Mommy is when she looks at her, so wonderful.

To Avi & her Mommy, thank you so much for having me back for your very special one year portraits, it was wonderful seeing you again!!!!!

Turning Three | Los Angeles Children’s Photographer

Yesterday I photographed a super cute little boy who is turning three next month. It is an exciting time for him, not only will be be turning three but he will be getting his very first haircut or Upsherin as it is referred to in the Jewish faith.

I tell ya, it was a beautiful day here in LA yesterday but it was a scorcher! We braved the heat and had a lot of fun with our portrait session. Thank you to the G family, you are all so sweet and I thank you for choosing me to document this special time in your lives.

Here are a few photos from our time together today!

While everyone was getting ready, I had to get this quick shot of their sweet baby girl, she was so happy in her little swing. So very cute
