Check out some of my favorite little newborns

PS - if you are feeling a little silly or nostalgic head on over to www.yearbookyourself.com for a little fun, 1978 is my favorite one and I think my hair actually did look like that in 1994.

They came two by two

Today I had a wonderful opportunity to photograph a bunch of the cutest twins EVER! These little models just melted my heart with all their cute twinness (ok that is *so* not a word). They were all modeling for a awesome shop that specializes in clothing for twins and siblings of twins. I’ll share the name and how you can find them when we have all of the images live and ready.

I wish I could show all of the beautiful baby twins from today, but it’s been a long day so I’ll just give you a sneak peek of a few from today.

This little heartbreaker has a twin brother, but he decided that he didn’t want the paparazzi bothering him, so he declined and put his hand up and said no photos, please respect my privacy. Alright so he didn’t say that in so many words, but I think that’s what he would have said if he could have. ;)

For this next one, I can’t use the black and white version for the final one, but for my blog I just had to use it. I love how curious they look.

Can you see me now?

I often get emails from friends, clients and potential clients asking when my site will be compatible with the iphone. Trust me, I understand the frustration, I’m still surprised that the iphone doesn’t handle flash applications! In the mean time the good folks over at Big Folio have created Small Folio which creates a special little website off of your own website just for iphones!

When you visit my site now via iphone it loads the new iphone version of my site instead of the “no flash for you” icon. Although I must warn you it still needs a little tweaking, but it’s still pretty cool! So whip out your iphone and visit www.angelacalderon.com, feel free to check back often as I add more images and galleries!

If you don’t have a iphone, then I think this is a perfect excuse to get one right? ;-)

It’s 2:42 am Atlanta time, I guess I’m still on California time (11:42 am), does that mean that I am typing this from the future? I’m in a time warp!

Happy Tuesday (or late Monday)!

Looks like we made it…

This post is long overdue, however we just had our internet service connected today. We arrived on Sunday night so it took us exactly three days to travel from LA to Atlanta. Phew! We had plans to get out and do things and make more stops, but let me tell you, when it’s 125 in Phoenix and 108 in Texas, we just stayed in the car with the a/c cranking! I’m happy to report Little Miss was wonderful, however her brother, oh boy, he was a little challenging, which surprised us because he’s normally the easier of the two.

One night we tried to find a hotel room in Oklahoma and I swear the entire state was booked, we must have stopped at least 12 different times in different cities and there was nothing.

Our stuff doesn’t arrive until Saturday, so this week we’ve been sitting and sleeping on the floor. OUCH my poor back is not a happy camper! This afternoon a storm was rolling through and the power went out, when it came back on the security system went nuts and we couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so we had a visit from some wonderful police officers who came to check up on us. I’m sure the neighbors are already thinking there goes the neighborhood with those crazy California people setting off alarms and causing problems only after a few short days here. I promise we are nice! ;-)

Texans are friendly drivers according to their welcome sign… (Oh and I know I am supposed to show a Georgia sign but it was super late when we arrived and I had a severe case of driver’s foot cramp, so I’ll have to take a picture of the Georgia sign some other day!)

It’s true, everything *is* really big in Texas. We saw the 2nd largest cross in the Western Hemisphere. It was HUGE and was right off the interstate.
Interstate 40 follows along historic Route 66

And my regular blog readers know, I love using the fisheye. Spencer & Morgan outside our new home…

and the friendly police officers who came out today when the security system went nuts
(a la point and shoot camera ;-) )

And the Winner is…

Lori Wlliams come on down and claim your prize.  Email me (angela at angelacalderon.com) so I can send you the gift certificate for your choice of the a oh so cute and cuddly Bestever baby bear mat.

The way I drew the winner was oh so scientific.  I had exactly 253 entries, so I called my son on the phone (I’m at the office) and I told him to pick a number between 1 and 253.  He chose number 161 which just so happened to be Lori’s email number.

For those of you who didn’t win (or for those stinkers who didnt enter ;-) ) you can still get a babymat at ShopBestver.com and if you enter in coupon code: photobaby you can save 10% on your entire purchase.  This coupon is valid until August 15, 2008.

All my wordly posessions (minus laptop + camera + lenses) are sitting out on the curb waiting to be taken to Atlanta.  Ok well they aren’t just sitting there, they are in the moving containers.  Godspeed all my junk (er I mean valuables), have a safe trip and I will see you at our new home.  I have to tell you, I am lucky that I’m good at Tetris because you would not believe the amount of stuff I was able to pack in to those tiny little containers.  Phew!
