A Very Special Day | Atlanta Child Photographer

My good friends at the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House called and told me about a little boy who has been staying with them for the past two months.  Today was his last day as he received the green light to go home, so I stopped by to get a few snapshots to document the occasion.  His Mom said that she is so thankful for ARMH and it was a wonderful experience but she will be so glad to finally be home to her own bed.  I can’t blame her, I think we all agree that there is truly no place like home, but like I said before, the Ronald McDonald House comes really close to being just like home.

Ty Christian just turned three years old and he was on the go today!  He is such a sweetheart and had so much personality.  I think he had a lot of fun during our time together, I know I did.  To Ty & his Mommy and my friends at Ronald McDonald House, thank you again for inviting me to share in this very special day.  Here are a few photos to share from our afternoon together:

Carson: One Year Later | Atlanta & Los Angeles Baby Photographer

Carson is another one of my adorable little Los Angeles clients that just turned one.  I have big plans for Carson, he just doesn’t know it yet.  I’ve decided that he is going to marry Quinlan (see the blog post prior to this one) and I’m going to photograph my first ever wedding when their big day happens.  Carson & Quinlan’s parents are friends so I think it would work out quite nicely!  Carson is such a little cutie pie and like Quinlan he isn’t walking yet but he’s so close.  His Dad has this really cool old Jeep that he restored and you know I had to incorporate that in to our session.  Carson’s mom has this amazing eye for detail and decorating, their home has so many great spots (we really took advantage of that with his newborn session).  This time we spent a lot of time outdoors since Carson is on the move.  It was so great seeing them again, such an awesome family that I adore.

Carol - Those two kids would have beautiful babies together!! They both have beautiful blue eyes!! Beautiful work!

Dena Robles - I love how color-coordinated and precious he is in the newborn shot. He grew into a handsome little guy didn't he? The last 2 images are so fun!

SherriW - OH that is a great session and to see them come back to you for his first year session! Great work. I love the Daddy shot in the van or car!

Kimberly Hill - I'll second-shoot the wedding! Those gorgeous kids, your personality, the laid back fun parents? Heck ya, I'm there!! I can't pick a favorite and I'm not emotionally involved so I'm guess Mom & Dad won't be able to either which equals an album. There, problems solved. :)

jennifer - omgoodness these are absolutely gorgeous, wow awesome session, I especially love the PJ's shot and the car window shot!

oneshotbeyond - 1 is such a fun age...how neat for the parents to be able to look back at how much he's grown since you 1st took his photos. :-)

Lisa Kelly - Oh my goodness, what an adorable little guy. I love the first one of him now with his blue jumpsuit on, his face just is lit up. And that last family shot is so happy, I adore it.

Angela - oh wow! These are so fun! I love the one of him in the doorway!

Season Moore - Just love everything about these! Great color inside and out!

Marla Carter - What a cutie pie!! Great shots, except now I want to stain my fence red and Shane is going to kill me!!

Heather Barone Brown - Oh, my goodness, what a little dolly! Could he be any cuter in those skull and cross bone jammies? They look like they have such a fun family! What beautiful images you have of them.

Teri Mason - What a cutie! Love the jammies shot, and the family one, too! They have a lovely yard!

Nina Pomeroy - LOVE that shot of him and dad sitting in the drivers seat!

PamN - Such a treasure for this family! There will be many more fun times as he grows, but these days will never come again - these images are priceless!

Nichol Krupp - Love them all! The color is amazing on these.

bridget - I must know where she got those pjs! They have to have them in pink right?

Quinlan: One Year Later | Atlanta & Los Angeles Baby Photographer

I just returned home this evening from a wonderful week in Los Angeles.  While there I had the opportunity to photograph many of my sweet little clients from last year that I first met as newborns and have all recently turned one.

My first stop was Redondo Beach to photograph sweet baby Quinlan.  She is not quite walking yet but it won’t be long (look out R & T!).  The minute you walk in to the door she smiles and giggles and just melts your heart with her GORGEOUS blue eyes.  I’m telling you folks, no Photoshopping on her eyes, they really are that blue.  It is so much fun seeing how much she has grown in the past year, I was so excited when her parents asked me to come back again this  year.  I’ll confess to loving them as well, even though her Dad likes to make fun of me for going to see New Kids on the Block while I was in LA. ;)

Lisa Kelly - Angela these images are just divine. She has grown up so much and her eyes are just so striking. I adore the first image of her on the bed, so sweet.

They understand quality and the intimate connection between a custom photographer and their clients. They won't settle for less than the best. Mom and Dad think they treasure these images now, but when this little beauty is waving goodbye as she drives off to college, these image will be priceless!

natasha c - These are sooo good angela!! the colors I love and the clarity are just phenomenal. :)

These are great photos and they will be showpieces in the extended family's homes!

MaryAnn - No wonder they asked you to come back to LA to capture their baby - these are absolutely to die for!!! How could anyone do better? I am in awe of your talent!!!!

Jane Eaton Hamilton - Wow, these are lovely, Angela. She is so freaking adorable. That last one would be, like, 30x40 up on my wall if she were mine. (She makes me miss mine little.)

Sean | Buckhead Children’s Photographer

This afternoon I traveled to Buckhead to photograph a super cute 19 month old boy named Sean.  Like most little ones his age he was super busy but he was so much fun and he gives *the* best high fives around!  I think we finished up just in time because the minute I got back home it started hailing gum ball and golf ball sized hail!  That is a new one for us, I think we only saw hail once in Los Angeles and it was itty bitty.

This first shot below was taken when Sean and I were hanging out while his Mommy & Daddy were getting ready.  I always adore shots of babies and kids just doing their thing, wearing whatever they would normally wear if they were just being a kid and not a photo shoot participant. Thank you to Sean’s Mommy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandpa, Aunt & baby cousin for being so kind to me and for being so much fun! It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.  Here are a few from our afternoon together:

jennifer - what a beautiful family, and a little handsome cutie he is! Love that first shot, shows so much personality in him!

Kimberly Hill - I can't pick a favorite. The excessive cuteness of him being just him in the first, the texture of the yummy bench and classic chambray/denim, or the pride in his parents' faces in the last. They need all of them!

Dena Robles - He looks like so much fun. I love the first black and white image especially.

Kristie Chadwick - I love his hair! The picture on the bench is just perfect.

Lisa - Absolutely adorable!

oneshotbeyond - a total cutie and adorable family!

natashacuevas@aol.com - LOVELY images Angela!! the parents will absolutely love these stunning pictures :)

Joyce - Love these! What an endearing little fellow he is!

TonyaMarie - What a handsome little guy! Love the image on the bench. And the family shot is fantastic.

CarmenM - That boy is the cutest! How did you not take that bench with you? Beautiful photos.
