I am one tired girl, so I’ll just share a couple of photos from Meteor City, Arizona. A little place that we stopped at just to stretch our legs today. I’m blogging from a Grants, New Mexico. We traveled almost 800 miles since this time last night.
(photos edited on my uncalibrated laptop, so if they look funky, then that’s my excuse!
)
a few quick things to mention
- little four year old screamer is being surprisingly good, keeps asking why Georgia isnt here yet and who’s idea it was to make Georgia so far away
-it was 125 in Phoenix according to our car temp gauge, oh man (Meggan if you are reading this, how in the world do you survive that type of heat?)
-I need some bug & tar for my windshield, lots of casualties, my mini van could serve as a traveling billboard, I could write your company’s name on the side in the dust, email me now for sponsorship

Awesome, this looks like a fun place to visit!
Seriously, 125? I think the hottest my van gauge read was 123…man…why do we live here again? lol
Glad little girly is doing ok for you! Hope it continues.
Doggonit - now I want a wide angle lens. I’ve never heard of Meteor City. Apparently I’m missing out.
Drive safe!!
In all my travels to AZ I don’t think I have ever seen this little interesting place! But you have inspired me to know I really really need to go through my AZ pictures and finally edit them! haha
Oh man Angela, GORGEOUS!! No funky laptop color issues at all, just beautiful scenes on my screen. You almost make me want to travel cross country by car. You’re going to see some fantastic sites!
I would just like to point out that since you’re already driving for… like… 3 weeks, you might as well go another 6 hours further and visit ME!

I’m so glad I got to meet you and only hope to see you again when you are in town. You’re going to HAVE to be in town around February 2009,that’s when I’m due and I would LOVE for you to take pictures of our little one.
Take care and God bless.
