This afternoon I traveled to Pasadena to photograph a brand new baby girl. How new is she? Well she’s only six days old. She was so good to me, she maybe cried once and she slept like a baby (well I guess cause she *is* a baby afterall
). One of the best parts for me was seeing her parents interacting with her. Shiloh is adopted and I cannot begin to tell you how lucky this little girl is. I think it’s safe to say that even though she’s not even a week old, she has her Daddy wrapped around her little fingers. I wish you all could have been a fly on the wall to witness how amazing her parents were with her. This family was so meant to be. There was love for this little girl in every inch of their home. It was one of those instances where I felt my heart soar and just felt so humbled to be a part of their lives even if only for a few short hours today.
Another thing that I thought was the neatest thing ever is the story of how Shiloh’s Mom & Dad met. Her Dad was traveling and he sat next to his future father in law on the plane. When the father in law returned home he told his daughter (Shiloh’s Mommy) that he had just met her future husband. He urged her to write to him because he knew that this man was the one for her. So she wrote to him and the rest is history. Ok I hope the way I told the story makes sense, if it didn’t, just trust me when I say it’s a cool story and it sounds much better when they tell it!
And I hear that Shiloh is going to be getting a visit from her Grandparent’s very soon. I can guarantee they will fall in love with her just like I did.
So here are a couple of photos from this afternoon, here is Miss Shiloh, she’s so beautiful and at day six she was already so full of personality.

And will you look at how happy they are! They could not stop smiling, this is what life is all about.
