Get your motor runnin’… win this hot rod!

The Holiday Countdown has begun!!!! How many other photographers do you know that are helping Santa out this year by giving away some very cool toys? Check out this super sweet toddler ride that you can win for your little dude or dudette. The wonderful people at New Star have donated this hot rod for me to give away in a contest.

Here are the specs:

This toy is called Mini Super Moto with the following specs:

- Suitable for kids, 1/1/2 to 3 years old.

- Weight of child not to exceed 25 kgs or about 55 lbs

- Size is 42.13 x 19.29 x 24.21 inches

- Speed 1.5 to 2 km/hr ( about 1.2 mi/hr)

- Direction Left, Right, forward and backward

- Play Time 1 to 2 hours

So how do you win this? Email me a photo that is at least 600 pixels tall or wide and you or the person in the photo must be holding or sitting with a sign that has your city (and state if possible) listed. No you don’t have to make an elaborate sign, you could use paper and write it, but you get cool points for making something neat or for finding a sign in your town that has the name on it. Entries are due by 11:59pm Pacific time this Sunday night 12/2/07. The winner will be posted on Monday and the next contest will begin. Please only enter if you are giving this to a child and you promise not to put this on ebay!

A Friday Family

November 23, 2007 – 8:30 pm

I completely forgot to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving yesterday! DOH! I hope you all ate lots of turkey, gave lots of thanks and spent time with the ones you love, I know I did!

This morning I traveled such a long long way, gosh I thought I would never get there. Ok I’m being silly, I was lucky today and I was in Rancho Palos Verdes so it took me a total of 4 minutes to arrive at my client’s home. I like that type of commute!

There were three beautiful children and their awesome Mom & Dad. We had a fun time and got some wonderful shots while we were at it.

Little Miss A totally stole my heart, when she and I were talking she told me that she decided we were friends, and that friends mean a lot to her. How cute is that? She reminded me of my own little girl, so full of life. Her brothers were total sweethearts too and such handsome little dudes.

Giggly Pickles

This morning I traveled to Huntington Beach to photograph a beautiful four year old girl. She was so much fun and she loved to laugh. Now when I meet my little clients for the first time I know that I have to have a lot of stuff to talk about that they like. So today we talked about Hannah Montana, Shrek, Hello Kitty, Sponge Bob, cats Ratatouille and about 400 other things! When I started to take her picture we were talking about pickles! And will you check out the big smile she gave me when I was talking about them, who knew pickles would make her so giggly. She was such a sweetheart and her parents were so nice. Thanks for letting me spend the morning with you!

A Date

This afternoon I went on a date.  My client for this evening had to reschedule and I decided to make a date with my two little people.  My original plan was to take them out and get some shots for our Christmas cards.  I changed my mind and decided to wait until Thanksgiving, so my husband and I took them to the movies.  We saw Bee Movie and it was great.  Jerry Seinfeld rocks my world he’s so darn funny and it was such a cute movie.  I still miss seeing new Seinfeld Episodes, thank goodness for DVDs.

I had my point and shoot camera in my purse as always and I snapped a quick pic of my kids when we were waiting outside.  Of course Morgan isn’t looking, she had her toy cat with her and she’s telling her about the movie we were about to see and the $15 bag of popcorn we were going to buy ;) .
