Happy Halloween + Photo Contest = Treats!

Ok all you people out there in blogland.  Email me a photo of your little ones in their Halloween costumes!  My kids will pick the winner and you will receive $15 in itunes if you are the chosen one.  Weee!

I hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween!  This morning my daughter’s preschool and my son’s school both had really cool activities going on for the kids and tonight we took the kids out for a little bit of trick or treating.  Here are a few snapshots of my kids from today.  Now I want to see yours!  Show me how cute your kids looked today and win yourself some itunes!  It’s like trick or treating for adults with itunes, but with zero calories and no sugar, your dentist will love you for it!

My son aka The Storm Trooper

My little Tinkerbell and a friend

My little one again, but this time with Grandma at the school carnival…. yes she’s on sugar overload here. ;)  Isn’t that the cutest most obnoxious dress ever?  I love how it looks in photos with the vivid color and patterns.

2007 Haute Dog Halloween Parade

Well this sure has been a busy weekend. Yesterday my booth at the baby fair was a success and I met lots of wonderful soon to be parents and spoke to them about my work. I can’t wait to start photographing their new little bundles of joy.

Today my husband and I took our two little ones down to Long Beach to the 7th Annual Haute Dog Halloween Parade. My kids love animals so much and we had such a good time! There were over 500 dogs in the parade and many more who just came to watch. I wish I could show you photos of all of the dogs, but that would be the world’s longest slideshow. Some of the dogs ran by us so fast that I didn’t have time to get a photo of them.

Here are a couple of my favorites and be sure and check out the slideshow below!

If you see your dog in the slideshow be sure and email me and I’ll be glad to send you the full res file so you can print it out!

The Great Pumpkin(s)

My son’s school has a pumpkin carving contest every year for their Halloween festival and I’m always amazed at some of the creative ways people decorate their pumpkins.  But I tell you, none of those pumpkins even match up to the AMAZING artistry from Scott Cummings in Perryton, TX.  Oh my goodness, he is so talented, you have to check out his website,  you’ll never look at a pumpkin the same way again.  Visit http://www.pumpkingutter.com/ to see his amazing pumpkin galleries!  Be sure and check out his art work as well, he’s very talented!

Hey Baby!

This weekend I’m participating in a baby expo for pregnant Mommies to be and I made a list of things I need to do and have ready for it.  A couple of nights ago at 3am I had one of those UH OH moments.  I thought I had ordered my banner but nope there was no check mark in the box.  So I used my best friend Google to find a banner company with quick turn around and ordered my banner.  It was shipped out within 12 hours and I had it the next day.  How’s that for service!

So for a 3am banner I like it!  I wish I had room to put all of my little client friends on my banner, but I had to think fast and pulled photos from the first file I came to.

Stay tuned for a super fun Halloween related contest and for your chance to win some prizes.  Not a new car or anything, but some fun little goodies!  ;-)

Thoughts and prayers…

Some of my clients, friends and family have had to evacuate their homes due to the horrific fires that are happening all over Southern California.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of them tonight during this horrible time.  When I was leaving to go to the office this morning my car was covered in ashes and I could see footprints of where I had just walked.  It almost looked like it was snowing.  We are right on the ocean so it seems to be blowing out this way and it was so hazy and foggy today, I can’t even imagine what it must be like for those who are closer to the fires.

Sending lots of love, good thoughts and prayers for everyone in Southern California tonight.
