Double the fun…

Yesterday I had a session with a 18 month old set of twins, a soon to be four year old and their Mom & Dad. We had so much fun, we started with a dance party, then we had a musical jam session, and we ended our day with a water balloon fest! Now I know how I sometimes have a hard time wrangling my two children, but these parents were pros with three. Not only that, they were so beautiful and you can see where their children got their good looks.

Here’s my new little buddy Mr. C, Happy Early Birthday! I hope it’s a good one!

And the twins…

Now you know I couldn’t resist putting my logo on the drum set right? Yes I’m a nerd! ;-) Check out how serious he was while drumming. Toddlers Rock!

This is probably one of my favorite shots of the day. I love how they each have a foot raised…

Thank you to the L Family for welcoming me in to your home, I had a wonderful time!

sheena - Angela! I'm so flattererd (and a bit embarrassed!) that you took the time to check out my new blog! Thanks so much for the comment....I want to print it out and hang it on my wall! I LOVE your work--it's so natural and fun....and your website is the cutest!

TonyaMarie - Love the logo on the drum set! I can't see the first few images...but I'm sure they are as adorable as the last two.

meggan - You are crazy girl! Looks like a super fun session though - kids are adorable and you really captured them well!

It’s like Christmas for nerds…

Warning: Serious camera nerd talk ahead, clients please ignore ;-)

This week is officially Christmas for nerds week in the photography world.  Nikon & Canon have both announced some really sweet cameras.  Right now yours truly is shooting with both Nikon & Canon bodies.  To be honest, I’ve always been a Nikon girl, however the Canon 5D is such a great camera for low light situations that I got one and it’s great.  The thing about Canon cameras (for me personally) is that they just seem so backwards, the controls and dials just seem like they are out of place.  I’ve been whining for ages for the Nikon Gods to listen and come out with something that could handle noise like the 5D does.  Guess what, Santa Claus is coming to town!  Today Nikon announced the D3

Isn’t it pretty…

Lisa R - Sigh...so...so pretty.

Jasmine* - Girl...com'on now...you know the 5D is just the bomb?!? Stick with Canon don't turn back! ;)

Tonya - Yes. It is a handsome camera. Looks nice and solid.

meggan - canon is better. LOL

Stubbsy - It is gorgeous... which Nikon are you using currently?

A late night dedication…

This one goes out to all the night owls out there in blogland. I see you yawning, you are getting very sleepy, very very sleepy. It’s time to go to bed.

Tonya - Oh! I just adore this image. Great timing!!!

The Boss of Me

I like to pretend I’m my own boss (shhh don’t tell my husband I said that), when sadly I must confess that my boss is a three year old little girl, we’ll call her Morgan. ;-)

This morning before leaving for preschool we had the following conversation:

Morgan: Mommy can I wear my Tinkerbell shoes to school?

Me: No honey, we need to save them for Halloween. You don’t want to get them dirty do you?

Morgan: Yes

Now there were a couple of choices that I had at this point. #1 was to spend an hour trying to convince Morgan that the shoes just were not for preschool, or #2 I would just let her wear them so I wouldn’t be late getting in to the office. I guess this photo will clue you in to what choice I went with. Some days you just have to pick your battles.

Today’s score for those keeping track is Toddler: 1 Mommy: 0.

Vanessa - Too cute! I love the story behind the shot!

heather morrow - would you look at those cute little legs! keep us posted if the scores gets tied.

1+1 = 2

1 Stunning Mom + 1 Handsome Dad = 2 Beautiful Children

My clients this morning, oh gosh, they were so sweet. I had such a fun time with them. Beautiful both inside and out, I never get tired of saying how lucky I am to meet all of the wonderful families that are my clients.

Now you would never guess that a 2 year old was hiding behind Mom & Dad in this first shot. ;-)

Ok and seriously, how awesome are they? They look like newlyweds, GORGEOUS!

And the little ringlets on top of his head, oh gosh, he was so sweet, I volunteered to babysit!

And my little buddy Mr. G, he is too cute!

A special thank you to the “G” family for spending the morning with me, I had so much fun!
