I always try and spend a few minutes getting to know my clients before a session, especially when they are little ones.  When I booked this session I knew that six children was going to be a challenge.  So before I went I gathered up all the cameras I could find in my home and took them with me.  I gave each one of them a camera and I told them I was so happy that they had agreed to let me come to their home and take *my* picture.  They thought I was silly but it sure did the trick to break the ice and we had a lot of fun!

There was only one boy in the bunch with five girls. The only boy with five girls today. I asked him how he felt about all of these girls and he said they. drive. me. crazy. and he said accckkk and then I snapped this. I asked him what words make him laugh and he said toilet. So from then on I said toilet and he was big smiles and giggles. He was such a character and a lot of fun! His mom said that yesterday his hair was down to his shoulders but since these photos are for his Grandma she bribed him to get it cut. He told me he’s never going to get it cut again because cool guys don’t have short hair if they ride a skateboard and play in a punk band. Rock on little dude.

Happy New Year to all of my wonderful family, friends and clients.  2006 was a fantastic year for me and it’s thanks to all of you.  I’m truly blessed to have so many wonderful people surrounding me in my life.  I hope to see all of you again in 2007 and hope that you will continue to spread the word to your friends and family about Angela Calderon Photography.  I know I’ve said it before but I think I have the best clients ever.
